emerald – the color of the year

With the start of the year, we see different authorities begin to predict trends that will affect the design community as a whole whether in fashion design, interior design, product design, or event design. One forecast that I usually pay attention to is given by Pantone who is the top dog when it comes to color use in the various deign disciplines. They have announced that Emerald Green is the 2013 Color of the Year.  I will usually embrace their selection and see how I can pair it with other colors to create palettes that will inform project designs. Here are 5 color combos that incorporate the 2013 Color of the Year.
